Onboarding 5 design-partner leagues for the ’26 season

Grassroots soccer,
built like the pros play it.

Sideline runs your league or tournament end to end, then broadcasts every match live to your whole community. The product

Run it, broadcast it, and get everyone in it seen.

Most tools stop at a schedule. Sideline runs the whole competition, streams it live to your community, and turns every player and team into a profile worth following.

Live public broadcast

Every event gets a public hub. Spectators, parents and rivals follow the scores, timeline and tables in real time — no login needed.

Stats, standings, brackets & awards

League tables, group stages, knockout brackets, stat leaders and player-of-the-game — all built and shown live as the competition plays out.

Player & team profiles

Public profiles for every player and team — career stats, honours and connected socials, so spectators can find the talent off the pitch too.

Drafts & knockouts

Run a live player draft, then two-legged ties with aggregate scores and penalty shootouts — the bracket builds itself.

Calendar & following

Follow players and teams; the fixtures and events they choose to share land on your calendar automatically, alongside your own.

Discover teams nearby

Looking for a game? Find leagues and teams near you and request to join — the missing link between a player and their next side.

For organisers

Set up a competition in an afternoon. Run it from your phone.

Create the league or tournament — format, dates, teams and players — and it gets a public page and an Event Hub the moment it’s live. Hand match day to your stat keepers; standings, brackets, stat leaders and awards build themselves as games are played.

  • Leagues, groups, knockouts & mixed formats
  • Live scoring with subs, cards, penalties & extra time
  • Delegated roles — co-organisers, stat keepers & media

A public event page — Lime Draft (4s · League + Knockout), hosted by Another 1, with Follow, invite status and View Event Hub.

For your community

Broadcast the whole event live — no login required.

Every league and tournament gets a public Event Hub. Spectators, parents, scouts and rival teams follow the action in real time: live scores, announcements, event awards and the crowned champion when it’s all done.

  • A public hub anyone can open — no account needed
  • Live scores, announcements, awards & the champion
  • Share cards for every result and milestone, built to be posted

Everything, live

Standings, brackets, awards — all built as it’s played.

No spreadsheets, no manual tables. Score the game and the brackets, honours and drafts update themselves for everyone watching.

For players

Profiles that get players seen.

Every player gets a verified public profile — career goals, assists, POTG and wins, split by format, with their socials connected. Stats aren’t claimed, they’re earned on the pitch and locked in after every verified match.

For teams

Every team gets a home of its own.

A public team profile with the record, form and squad, plus its own top scorers and assist leaders — the club’s permanent record, updated every match day.

  • Record, goal difference, clean sheets & recent form
  • Squad, team scorer & assist leaders
  • Set up practices & team events for the squad

Tap into any game and watch it live.

Open any fixture for the full match: both lineups on a real pitch, live score, goals and cards as they’re logged, the rules, both teams’ form, and Player of the Game when the whistle blows.

Beyond match day

A calendar that follows the game.

Follow the players and teams you care about, and the events they choose to share appear on your calendar next to your own — matches, practices, team events and friendlies, colour-coded so it’s all in one place.

  • My events, practices, team events & friendlies
  • Followed players’ shared events, auto-merged in
  • A per-day view of everything on at once

Built to be shared

Every profile exports a share card.

One tap turns a player’s season into a clean, watermarked card — goals, assists, games and wins, with a link back to the full profile. Made to post to the group chat and the feed.

  • Player, team and event cards
  • Watermarked, with a link to the live profile
  • The viral loop that brings the next player in

Your call

You decide exactly what’s public.

Exposure should be a choice, not a default. Per-section privacy toggles let every player control what the world sees — stats, teams, events, whether they show up in search, and what followers get. Nothing is public that you didn’t switch on.

  • Toggle stats, teams and events joined on or off
  • Control search visibility and media tagging
  • Choose what followers see, and analytics opt-out

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is Sideline, exactly?

A mobile app that runs grassroots soccer competitions end to end — leagues, tournaments and Sunday teams — with live scoring, standings, brackets and awards, a public Event Hub for spectators, and a permanent profile with career stats for every player and team.

Can anyone watch our matches?

Yes. Your event gets a public hub, and every match has a live Match Centre — scores, lineups on the pitch, timelines, standings and awards, all updating in real time. Spectators, parents and scouts can follow along with no account needed.

What’s on a player or team profile?

Career stats and honours split by format, the matches they’ve played, and their connected socials (Instagram & TikTok) so people watching the game can find and follow them off it. Players control what’s public with per-section privacy toggles.

Can teams schedule practices and find players?

Yes. Teams set up practices and team events that flow to every player’s calendar, and players can discover leagues and teams nearby and request to join. Followed players’ shared events show up on your calendar too.

How much does it cost?

Free for design-partner leagues through the ’26 pilot — no card, no catch. We’ll be upfront about pricing well before anything changes, and pilot leagues get grandfathered terms.

Is it just for soccer? When does it launch?

Soccer only, on purpose, for year one — we’d rather be the best tool for one sport than a mediocre one for ten. It’s live on TestFlight now, with the public App Store launch lined up for the ’26 season. Join the waitlist or request early access to get in.
